If you need to complete a home improvement project urgently but are unable to afford the cost of the work upfront, you’ll already have looked online for competitive home improvements finance. Having completed your application, you’ll have been surprised – and disappointed – to learn it was declined. This may, in turn, have deterred you from searching for 0% interest finance elsewhere.
Although your previous applications for home improvements finance may have been declined, this shouldn’t put you off looking elsewhere. You may have refrained from speaking to other companies because you’re worried that further declines will damage your credit score. If you apply for 0% interest finance and are declined, your file will show that you applied – not that you were refused the loan.
Why Apply for Home Improvements Finance?
If your double-glazing is letting in lots of cold air and causing your heating bills to rise, you may need to replace your existing windows or doors to combat this issue. Perhaps you are thinking of moving and want to build a conservatory to make your home more attractive to prospective buyers. If you can’t afford to pay these costs upfront, 0% interest finance might empower you to make these important changes without waiting.
Who Can Apply for Double Glazing Finance and How?
The Advanced Exterior Plastics Team would welcome the opportunity to provide you with a no-obligation home improvements finance quote. Some restrictions do apply, though, and so it’s important to be aware of these terms and conditions before visiting our dedicated quoting tool and submitting your request. Keep reading for information about who can apply for 0% interest finance with us and how the process works.

How Do I Apply For 0% Interest Finance with You?
To find out whether you’re eligible for home improvements finance, you’ll first need to contact one of our friendly team members. You’ll be invited to enter further details that are relevant to your application – for example, your address and employment status. You’ll also need to provide your bank details for the purposes of verification and for us to use if your request for double glazing finance is approved by our team.
Once we have entered the required information, our system will make an automatic decision. There are three possible outcomes: Declined, Referred and Approved.
If your request for home improvements finance falls into the first category, you can contact our approachable team to find out the reason and take appropriate action. If it’s referral, we’ll get back with more information once we’ve reviewed your file.
Whatever the outcome of your double-glazing finance application, you’ll receive a confirmation message informing you of our decision. For example, if your request was turned down, you can write to or email Equifax to find out what details are held about you. If we’re able to accept your request for 0% interest finance, we’ll send you a Direct Debit Agreement and other relevant paperwork for you to sign.
